At the start of the meeting we caught up with each others' news, and Lis ran through the talk that she has prepared to give to Perth Kinnoull Rotary club next month.
Our speaker was from Home-Start Perth, a local charity which provides support and friendship for families with young children. We were interested to hear about the work that they do and the types of families that benefit from their support. They have two fundraising events before Christmas which we hope to support.
At our next meeting we will welcome the Inner Wheel District Chairman as our speaker.
Two of our members will represent us at the District curling bonspiel, and we have invitations to other events. More details are available from the secretary.
